Officially On A Budget!
So, I have relinquished all of my credit cards to my sister Candace and am officially on a budget! Now I will not be able to add to my debt and will only spend the cash that I have, which is next to nothing....My credit cards will be returned once I get a job, so I can't spend money on things I don't need. So if you wanna hang out with me, it has to be something cheap and/or free! HAHA!

Farewell to the Rayburns
Sadly, we had to bid farewell to Kat and Patric as they headed off to start their new adventure in D.C. Jackie and her brother hosted a beach bbq at their house in Beverly Hills. It was a nice hot sunny day and we all hung by the pool and had jello shots in honor of the Rayburns and a new chapter of their lives.

The Happiest Place On Earth!
We celebrated Luke and Lisa's engagement by going to the Happiest Place on Earth! It was a nice and sunny day, we had a blast!! Yay Disneyland!!

After our exciting and exhausting Disneyland fun, we went to the ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney for the celebration dinner.
After dinner, we proceeded to the upstairs Arcade where we continued our fun and played some games! My favorites were basketball and air hockey!

Here's Luke and Bill (two Vegans) playing a hunting game, ironic, I know!

We Are The Champions...
On Sunday, Mike and Jaime hosted the Lakers Game at their place. It was a great game, the Lakers totally kicked the Orlando Magic's ass!
So, after the win, we thought it would be really fun to go to the Lakers Parade. It started at 11 at the Staples and the team made its way to the USC Collesium for the celebration. Unfortunately we got off to a late start and there were TONS of people out. The traffic was crazy and we ended up just going to downtown and watching the parade go by.

Since, the parade was so early, we didn't really have time to pre drink, but I thought ahead. Here's Me & Tony taking jello shots that I made the night before. I don't wanna brag, but they were yummy!

After the parade, we hung out at LA Live and had a few drinks. Overall a fun day. Probably would never do it again but I'm glad I can say that I've witnessed the Lakers Victory Parade!

My List...
Of the things I will buy once I get a job! Being unemployed has been tough, especially without a steady income. There are a few things I've wanted or been wanting to buy that I just can't justify spending my non existent funds on. Here is what I will purchase when I get my dream job (or any job for that matter)
I will get first. Just gotta get me a J-O-B!!
- Running shoes (for actual long distance running)
- A new laptop (mine is about to break down)
- Some comfy work shoes
- Work clothes to wear to my future job
- Spinning Shoes (been spinning for almost two
years now, should have the proper shoes) - Tickets to a Lakers Game (Eventually, I'd like to get Season Tickets)
I've wanted to sign up for a 10K or Mud Run (but haven't because of the dang registration fees!)- New swimsuit for Hawaii (Can & Bry invited me as a graduation gift)
- An I-Phone or Blackberry (its about time I joined the internet phone race, especially if I want to work in Online, I gotta be Twittering on my phone and all that good stuff)
- Coach Wallet, my old one is GHETTO!

- I want to go bungee jumping (but that costs money too!)
I will get first. Just gotta get me a J-O-B!!Sunday, June 7, 2009

Sunday night, our family invited Jaime's family to an engagement celebration dinner at Capital Seafood in Monterey Park. There were about 15 of us plus 3 kids in one of the back rooms in the restaurant. We had lotsa yummy Chinese seafood and chatted and got to know each other better.

Everything's Changing...
I've been out of school for almost two months now and things are starting to change. People are leaving LA and either going back home or starting a new job in a new city. Colleen is leaving for McKinney in a few days and had a going away at Cabo Cantina. We toasted Colleen and cheered on the Lakers. It was a fun night!!

That same weekend, Lance had a little going away Dim Sum lunch. Sadly, he has returned to Hong Kong cause the job market here sucks! The lunch was conveniently located in Monterey Park at NBC Restaurant, so I walked there from my house and enjoyed some Dim Sum with my Asian Pepperdine Peeps!

The dim sum was delicious and of course, we ordered way too much food. It was a good thing I walked, cause I was so stuffed! Felt good to walk some of it off.
